The system is leak tested and baked to UHV standard before shipping, so it is ready to use out-of-the-box.
• Compact design reduces total weight while retaining complete functionality.
• Connects to other systems via a VAT NW40CF Manual Gate Valve and transfers sample holders via a magnetic transfer arm.
• UHV compatible viewports make it possible to monitor samples even when in transit.
• The provided pump (Ion/NEG) keeps the inner volume constant in UHV environment even at the shortage of power, so is an ideal tool for carrying sensitive samples for remote instruments.
• Base pressure is below <1 x 10-10 mbar for 48 hours after complete bakeout.

Shipping: Standard off-the-shelf stock items will be delivered within 3-5 working days. Non-stock and bespoke products will be advised on an individual basis.
A combination pump (ION/NEG) keeps the inner volume constantly at UHV levels even at the shortage of power, thus it is an ideal tool for carrying sensitive samples to remote instruments. The UHV suitcase adopts a very compact design which reduces the total weight whilst maintaining all functionalities. It connects to other systems via a NW40CF VAT UHV gate valve and transfers sample holders using a 600mm magnetic transfer arm. There are 2 UHV compatible viewports to monitor the safe transfer of samples whilst the ultimate base pressure is 1 x 10-10 mbar after bakeout.
Core components include:
· 600mm horizontal magnetic transfer arm with grabber, compatible with flag-style sample holders (other MTA travel options available)
· 100mm vertical magnetic transfer arm to load samples from the parking station
· Parking station to accommodate 6 x flag-style sample holders
· 1 x NW40CF VAT UHV gate valve
· Aluminium alloy frame to support the suitcase and protect pump and viewports
· SAES NEXTorr® Z200 compact pump which is able to sorb gases very effectively with large capacity down to XHV levels
· SAES NEXTorr® Z200 power supply and cables
· Frame to support the suitcase and horizontal magnetic transfer arm
· Flight case with protective layer for vibration isolation during remote transport
· Inverter for car for remote power
